If you are going to "test it thoroughly" it doesn't matter what it claims or doesn't claim. You pick it, test it, and decide if it meets your needs. If it doesn't, pick a different one and repeat the testing. The generator is a black-box; everything you know about it is from testing as a black-box -- no knowledge of internals.
