Maybe I should have mentioned it explicitly in the OP, but that's
exactly what triggered my posting here.
That and http://sourceforge.net/p/booch95/bugs/26/ too.

And I still don't see any clue on why their code is more idempotent than
mine.

Again, what am I missing here?
