So I assume that the missing features is not a premise for buying Photoshop. Of course if somebody *need* the missing features, the matter is different. As to if I have tried Photoshop, yes I have. However not on Mac OS X, but on the older Mac OSes which I found dumbed-down and frustrating as I find Windows. But I do not wish to say anything with respects to Mac OS X (the Unix clone Mac had to change to as their old OS was beyond repair) as I haven't tried it, I expect it to be better than Windows, but I do not know. But please don't thing the users are a homogenous group of people. User friendliness is not the same for everybody. Some want clicky-micky-click-click interface (and developing problems with the muscles in the hand) others want a UI where they can use the keyboard etc... > If these details aren't part of the requirements specification > what kind of users do you have in mind for your programs?
