Ada Software Engineers

Honeywell Satellite Systems Operation in Glendale, Arizona a suburb of
Phoenix, is a leader in the development of guidance and navigation systems
for spacecraft. 

We have these immediate and challenging opportunities to develop
application software for the International Space Station program. We are
seeking embedded real-time Ada software engineers to work with the
customer to determine requirements, implement a solution, and integrate
the software within the Space Station laboratories. Occasional travel to
customer sites for integration support will be required.

We are seeking engineers with strong Ada experience in embedded real-time
applications with an emphasis on hardware/software integration. A working
knowledge of VAX/VMS and experience analyzing requirements,
designing/developing/integrating Ada software, and developing customer
documentation is essential. Good communication skills and a Bachelor�s
degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline are also
required. Experience in the military/space environment per DoD-Std-2167A
and knowledge of Mil-Std-1553, VME and C++ software development are highly
desired.
