Or in large parts of Sydney.

My front door and french windows lie open all day.
I close the front door at night.
But leave the french windows open most nights.
( I close them in winter )

The back door and all the windows are left open 24 hours a day ,
regardless of whether or not there is someone at home.

However, I do live in a rather low crime part of Sydney.
