But would that be any better than GtkAda?  Just another non-native GUI
library.

I must agree that GtkAda isn't exactly perfect.  But I had to use a
Microsoft GUI a few days ago, and that was even further from perfect.

Also.  For people like me are GUI's more of a nuisance than something
important.  I don't mind GUI's written with Tcl/Tk.  And GtkAda hides
most of the difficulties with coding a GUI, when I absolutely have to
do it.  Something more complicated from the programmer POV is unlikely
to be used for "hobby" projects [1].
