ANSI C is dated 1999. You must have noticed my compiler vendor ranting. To my knowlege there is only one C compiler which fullfills C99 [1] and one which tries [2]. All other C compiler verndors either ignore c99 completely or produce vaporware only. Sincewe have 2006 now I begin to think that C99 is effectivly dead.
