I agree. All these arguments here really sound like nitpicking that serve no one. I think the future of Ada would be better served if there was a low cost version of Gnat that can be used in small scale commercial projects. Other companies do that a lot, I see that especially in the gaming tool industry where there are offers like "Free to use if you make less than so much money per year, above that a paid version is required.
