It's very sad. I can't say how much I miss range-constrained numeric types in Java/C++. Another Ada'83-ism to be rediscovered. And tasking? Every time I see C++ people fumbling with low-level semaphores I want to cry. No language (that I know) comes even near Ada tasks + protected combo. No wonder multithreading is sold as some kind of miracle when some program uses it properly.
