When you write code in Java, you can write it it in a way that allows you to have the specification of a functional interface separate from its implementation. Since I have zero interest in waging a language war between Java and Ada, I don't care about how superior Ada's package specifications might be. Let's say that Ada is a million times better. That's of no interest when you're programming in Java.
