If you don't know Ada, then you obviously wouldn't understand why it's the language of choice for safe, reliable systems. Perhaps the programmers who voted Ada as the "best" language know something you don't, eh? Why don't you find out for yourself? There's a free, high-quality Ada compiler, GNAT, available at NYU's ftp site.
