We're discussing Kasakov's proposal that the legal system should make no warranty licenses, e.g. GPL, void, and (correct me if I'm wrong), "void" means having no legal value whatsoever, which entails that the user is not bound to it. Note that under this system a really big lot of licenses would be void. Probably the status of the 'licensed' work would fall back to normal copyright law.
