This State Threads project seems a waste of time to me. If I understand correctly, their objective is increasing web server performance by a small factor, namely not changing the order of magnitude. To me this is clearly a case where it much less costly to achieve the same result by throwing in more hardware. And keep programming in AWS with the run time and operative system as it is.
