I'll step in, too.

Ada has ways of getting the name of 'enumerals' (is that the proper =
term?) and exceptions as strings, so no problem here. For functions =
there are compiler-dependent ways (e.g. GNAT's symbolic traceback). And =
for everything there is ASIS: as the idea is to move in the direction of =
compile-time, it fits.
