I only said that the gcc-272.dif file seems to contain patches that break the -O level optimization for some files. (If you throw in the patches that come with g77-0.5.20, the stage2 gnat1 coughs up sig 11 on every invocation.) This is not insignificant since it was the only optimization level that could be used throughout to build GNAT on the pa-risc for all 3.xx releases up to and including 3.07. -- Forte International, P.O.
