GNAT works just fine with minimal front-ending (http://www.pushface.org/gnatfe/) on all the Unix-based systems I know of; on my Mandrake box I have 5 different GNATs, on this Mac I have 3 (including a homebrewed 4.0.0 and GNAT GPL).
