("Can you show me something?") If that was indeed a competition, I'm surprised that it lasted as long as a year. I'd have cut the SPARK/Ada project long before that. On the other hand, to plan a competition to last a year without agreeing how progress was to be monitored to the satisfaction of both management and engineers sounds pretty daft too.
