The idea was to have a compiler targeting ASIS, and then make code generation from ASIS. It was sufficiently advanced that AdaControl compiled with it (except for Gnat extensions for Ada 2005/2012), and even passed a good part of its test suite. Unfortunately, the author turned to other occupations. It would be nice to have volunteers taking over this project. -- J-P.
