Gnat is based on GCC you know. You could even say it's a part of GCC.=20
GCC is under the GPL. Distributing it under a proprietary license would=20
be a violation of the GPL. Or do you think the Free Software Foundation=20
would issue a special proprietary license to Adacore?

Besides, I distinctly remember that this was discussed and clarified=20
here a few months ago.
