That's what Ada.Containers does, and it's the obvious solution. Compile-time checking is incompatible with any sort of library, and that's surely the case here. It's crazy to try to do everything at compile-time. (Of course, I'm on record as saying that many OOP designers are insane, so draw your own conclusions as to who is insane... :-) Randy.
