I can't say that I've seen any such uses, but I can say that I've used specialized storage pools for quite a number of different jobs. One of the most important is debugging of storage leaks and the like. I believe GNAT comes with some storage pools for this purpose; presumably the source is available somewhere to look at. Randy.
