I was taught FORTRAN, started systems programming in Assembler and FORTRAN. I learned Ada before C. C was unusable that time. It took long time and much more powerful machines before I could use C. Compilation of hello-world took about 15 min with the 5-stage C compiler under RSX-11. -- Regards, Dmitry A. Kazakov http://www.dmitry-kazakov.de
