As someone once said on the subject, "That is something up with which I will not put." Ending a sentence with a preposition, along with split infinitives and double negatives, are things that were quite common and acceptable before the 19th century. In the 19th C logicians came up with these rules that were contrary to common usage, and they were adopted by like-thinkers, but the real rule is that they are perfectly natural usage. -- Jeff Carter "To Err is human, to really screw up, you need C++!"
