It only must be considered as a discussion point and I am aware of the problems that can convey. Form my point of view, in some cases it could be necessary/interesting to keep configuration information confidential and to provide the means to check the integrity of a configuration file. Should the config file handling requirements make provisions for this circumstances? Antonio Duran
