In C it may be "simple", but it is NOT "safe". (Maybe you forgot a smiley?)>> Maybe he did not think it needed a smiley :-) The essence of sarcasm as a form is that you say something ludicrous in a serious manner, to display just how ludicrous it is (a good example, Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal"). But it is certainly *amazing* how many people did not automatically read the sarcasm into this statement. On the other hand, given some of the posts here, may be it is not so amazing after all :-) :-) \
