A notable new feature is that tight packing of arrays is now supported for all component sizes up to 32 bits. The efficiency of code for packed array operations has also been improved. Also notable is that for the SGI, the ACVC profile is a superset of the ACVC profile obtained during validation, which means that we can supply formally validated versions of the SGI port. For details on ACT support for most of the above platforms, send email to info@gnat.com. Additional questions regarding support, or questions about obtaining a formally validated version, should be addressed to support@gnat.com As usual, all technical reports and comments should be sent to report@gnat.com (be sure to include your ACT customer number in the subject line if you are a supported customer). We expect additional 3.05 ports to appear in the near future. Robert Dewar Ada Core Technologies Note: these ports are available from the usual FTP sites (cs.nyu.edu and its mirror sites around the world).
