My t= arget would be to write day-to-day (business, educational, etc), relatively= simple desktop applications. Since I don't need to write scientific or engineering programs, and I don't= need to work in embedded systems, my fear is that using Ada may be a bit o= f an overkill in my case. But still, I am very much attracted to it, becaus= e Ada has a reputation for being rock solid, with good libraries, well docu= mented, well supported, etc. I also like very much its readability. On the other hand, Delphi/Object Pascal is probably easier (and less compli= cated) for my needs, and may have more development tools (though I am not s= ure of this). Could you please share with me your insights regarding the pros and cons of= choosing Ada in my case? I thank you all in advance. Dufr
