I'm posting this here because the system, AirBorne Laser (ABL), has significant Ada content. These openings are not initially software development positions, they are system integration and test openings, but in the course of tracking down problems it is not unlikely that one will need to get into the source code. Follow-on activities once the initial integration is completed may include software development--but I'll be honest, that's not a certainty, though Quadrus is pursuing work in that area. These openings will initially be located for approximately one year in Wichita, KS, as TDY (that means per diem and the provision of an apartment, rental car, and periodic trips home). At the conclusion of the on-site work, the positions will be relocated to the Edwards AFB area in California. Everything's negotiable, except for the job duties, US citizenship, and an active clearance, so contact me at mcriley 'at' quadruscorp.com if you're interested. (I've been told by a couple of our engineers who've been supporting the program that the aircraft, a laser-toting 747, is really cool :-) Marc A.
