Of these, the mirror sites at ftp.cdrom.com and ftp.cnam.fr transferred 3,346 files, bringing the counts down to: 8,288 files, 547 organizations, 44 countries Users from 353 organizations (including 139 commercial firms and 168 educational institutions) in the United States were active. These figures cover accesses by anonymous FTP and gopher (gopher and http usage tracking is new this month). The file accesses by http (the World Wide Web) are quite small, and I did not bother reporting them this month (I need to work up some programs to extract the file transfer reports from the directory access reports in the http daemon log). See the 9409 activity log in languages/ada/userdocs/activity/pal_logs if you are interested in the details.
