Not at all!  Robert was demonstrating that inheriting from two different
implementations is not a well formed idea in general.  He already stated
that their exist cases (which you consider appropriate) that combining two
implementations is well formed, but he provided an example (which you
consider inappropriate) that demonstrates that MI does not work in general.
It wasn't a straw man argument; it was a counter example. ;-)

Anyway, I hope this demonstrates that people don't lack the courage to add
full MI.  Instead that want to carefully attain the features of MI without
any unnecessary problems.
