"Help Please" Date: 1996/06/16 Message-ID: #1/1 X-Deja-AN: 160937481 distribution: usa sender: babru@netcom18.netcom.com organization: NETCOM On-line Communication Services (408 261-4700 guest) newsgroups: comp.lang.ada Date: 1996-06-16T00:00:00+00:00 List-Id: In the application I have 25 application tasks and there are a few more . During the startup the 25 tasks wait for the main task to release them. when the main task goes relesing them after 20 iterations, the application dies with "Pending kernel service queue overflow" message . I steped through the debugger and inspected the various data structures of cycle 20 which passes and cycle 21 which fails and didnot find any obvious differences in the data. The application dies when it makes the following call Ada_Krn_I.Semaphore_Signal (Ada_Krn_Defs.To_A_Semaphore_T (Semaphore.S'Address)); Development of the application is done using Rationals Apex 2.0.8 B on a Sparc Station running Solaris 2.5. I have logged an entry with rational support. Could somebody through quick light.
