Hm, I dunno.. it seems like you'd be losing a lot for a relatively small gain in compilers -- not a whole lot of compilers went to Ada 2005 as compared to 95. So /that/ would likely be a better pack-port language... though for full Ada-generality backporting the interface all the way to Ada 83 (so you could feed it to DEC Ada and such). ...But this brings up an interesting point: it should be possible to automatically generate Ada 83 specs that bind/link to the Ada 2012 compilation objects, which would give you the best result in terms of keeping the source at the current standard and providing means for using them in prior versions.
