Companies don't exist to promote a computer language or any other specific technology. They exist to make money. If there was some sort of huge demand out there for Ada, Rational would be out supporting it with a vengance. The fact is that Ada is *not* a huge market force and Rational has simply adapted to what the buying public is demanding. None of that makes Rational "bad" - they're just like any other company that is trying to produce what the market wants and make a buck doing it. If we generate more demand for Ada, Rational (and others) will come around and start providing more support for it. We can't expect them to do it as "charity work".
