I don't know; but some years ago I had the fortune of talking to someone wh= o had been involved in a company doing an evaluation/audit of the Windows c= ode -- around version 2, or perhaps 3.1 (before Windows for Workgroups 3.11= ) -- and he related to me that his company recommended a rewrite in Ada. Of course Microsoft didn't follow the recommendation, but it's interesting = that they had the recommendation made to them.
