It is *much* easier for EU-citizens and most Job-offers in Switzerland require that you already have a work permit, so probably you should find an employer that does not mind to try to get yours. Well, if the company is really interested in you, they probably will do it for you, but it might be hard to find such one. Especially if you want an Ada-Job, that are hard to find already. The problem in the US is still harder the other way around: The security clearance level needed at NIF required that you are an US-citizen.
