On large scale projects, there are also lots of other factors (such as process, design, etc.) that can be far more important to reliability & schedule - Ada can't cure that either. If the tools are available, the Ada case gets easier, but it still has to overcome institutional inertia and lack of software engineering culture that may exist in many shops.
