The metaphor "ammunition" can easily (and totally unrelated to
politics) be replaced by the real thing, and it _will_ serve
to bring the discussion back to facts. Convincing arguments in
this case.

Metaphorically speaking, you wouldn't expect the majority of
c.l.Ada readers to feel comfortable with:
"Here is ammunition to neutralize your kids' shouting...",
would you?
