The computer industry should have choose this way instead of the one of big CPUs and big monolithic motherboards. At the time of the i486, before the Pentium was released, I though there may be a break in the architecture and the i486 was the last of its kind, and that something new gonna came up. I was disappointed when I heard about the Pentium and though inside of me "Oh shit, they persist and still go-on in this way"
