Well, if there were someone who sells *millions* on HC11/8051 products and needs only *one* compiler, then I would agree. But - in this range it is often the case, that a small company sells a few hundrets or thousands units, but *every* developer has its own develop environment. So to sell *millions* of units, there would be a lot of companies, who need a lot of development tools (_not only_ compiler, but the _whole_ toolchain).
