Personally, I don't think we have anything that has needed something as formal as a vote yet. In fact, I think it would be a bit of a failure if we actually did make a decision on an issue by a slim majority, which is the only time a show of hands would truly be needed. I'd much rather see decisions reached by general consensus than by majority rule. In the interests of pushing this forward, I will post a new (perhaps final?) Strawman spec rev this evening. I'll ask you to reserve judgement on the futility of this process until then. Previously I had asked that we *not* move forward with the strawman until it had matured some (been beaten a bit more), even though there were calls to do so. That is part of why we are still where we are. My opinion with the new version is that it is now about ready for the next step.
