Maybe it's *because* we're the weirdest place to live socially-wise? Introverts the lot of us! I'm guessing the Fareham job is the NATS air traffic control system. Meawhile I'm working on various Naval systems in Ada. And I know there are railway systems developed hereabouts too. It can be done (but I do have a degree).
