It's guys like this who should be in charge of Ada policy, who appreciate the need to plug for it whereever possible. In any event, somehow the editors at ComputerWorld saw a copy of my kudo, since the only place I posted it was on comp.lang.ada. For some reason, they published my kudo in the Letters to the Editor column in the April 19, 1993 issue of Computerworld, page 32. (Just think, the entire U.S. MIS community thinks I am a cheerleader for Ada policy). So when I say that the media is willing to give exposure to Ada if you contact them, I know of what I speak, especially when the editors here had to find my kudo to publish it. Given this willingness to mention things, the fact that so little appears in the non-Mandated press about Ada is just one more measure of the apathy and incompetence of whoever is in charge of making sure that Ada and the Mandate are viable.
