Balzac! You claimed you wrote multithreaded SW in C; I said that you wrote it in C plus a threading library that you did not write, which is not writing it in C. I never said anything about the standards. So your reply *obviously* claimed that no one has written the kinds of SW you mentioned in Ada without a library that one did not write. Numerous responses have proven that to be untrue. It's possible to write all of multithreaded SW in C, including the threading; that would qualify as writing such SW in C.
