It's the language of choice to teach several subjects in Zaragoza 
(Spain) college, computer engineering. I couldn't say about other 
colleges in Spain.

Introduction to programming.
Data structures and algorithms.
Concurrent programming.
Real time programming.
Embedded systems.

I may be missing something.
