In my experience successful vendors listen very carefully to their customers and adapt to their wants and needs. These companies know to listen very carefully because very few customers give feedback. If GM were to start getting a bunch of requests for cars with five 60 inch wheels, they would be much more likely to look into the market for such a car than if they had received no requests. If an Ada vendor were to receive multiple requests for a compiler targeting a specific processor, it would be silly for them to not at least consider targeting that processor. Steve (The Duck)
