Well, as I or any other pilot will be happy to state, the managerial, procurement and certain other "arms" (I am not talking about controllers and other _real_ workers) of the FAA constitute some of the most cluless, egotistical, incompetent, dictatorial idiots in the government. Which is saying quite a lot. Of course, now with the ValueJet fiasco, the general public is getting a _little_ clued in on this also.
