Before I gave up reporting these, I consistently got the brush-off from the responsible ISP saying that the problem was that someone has an email list feeding into comp.lang.ada. In general, spam _software_ does not address newsgroups, so whoever is running that email list is doing a lousy job of relaying _everything_ into the newsgroup. By contrast, the email list feeding into comp.os.vms is filtered (presumably with DNSbls) to keep out the spam.
