But in my experience Ada83 is much easier/more flexible in its ability to call other languages than any other language I've worked with. In particular, representation specifications make it possible to define an Ada type that matches the (often bizarre) data representations in other languages. "AdaCentrism" is a problem with respect to elaboration, but we're collectively working on this issue.
