Message-ID: List-Id: The use of a trailing underscore in a filename to indicate a package specification is an abomination first developed by DEC, and should be rejected in any "open context" such as reuse repositories. In particular, with the Ada9X decision to support trailing underscores in identifiers, the filename "foo_.ada" would be ambiguous by this convention, representing either the specification of "foo" or the body of "foo_". Frankly, the only good thing I have to say about the 9X decision to support trailing underscores is that it makes the DEC naming convention clearly ambiguous. dave
