But why do attribute this difference to static-vs-dynamic typing? Maybe it's caused by having garbage collection, or having a better predefined library, or having better debugging tools, or the confusing syntax of type definitions in C++, or the confusion between arrays and pointers in C++, or any number of other things. - Bob
